WHAT THE SITE COLLECTS
Nothing, as far as we can tell.
We don't run analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party trackers, and the site doesn't set cookies to follow you around. Our web host keeps ordinary server logs the way every host does — an IP address, a timestamp, which page loaded. We don't use those for anything beyond keeping the site up, and we don't combine them with anything else.
The fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. That request is between your browser and Google under their terms, not something we receive.
CHECKOUT
Stripe takes the payment.
Buy Now on the kits page opens Stripe. Stripe collects the name, email, shipping address, and card. We get the order back from Stripe so we can pack it and ship it. The card number stays with Stripe. Nothing you type on this site is stored here.
WHAT WE DO WITH IT
Fill your order. That's the list.
Your information gets used to pack the order and ship it. The shipping address goes to the carrier so they can deliver the box. Stripe handles the card. We never see or keep a full card number.
We don't sell your information, rent it, trade it, or hand it to anybody for marketing. We won't add you to a list you didn't ask to be on. If we ever start a mailing list, it will be something you opt into on purpose.
BUYING SOMEWHERE ELSE
eBay, Etsy, and Amazon run their own show.
Order the starter through a marketplace and that company collects and handles your information under its own privacy policy. We only see what they pass along so we can ship the order. Those links on this site are plain links — no tracking attached from our side.
YOUR SIDE OF IT
Ask and it's gone.
Write admin@banlys.com and ask what we have on you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it, no hoops. The one thing we keep is what we're required to — a record of the sale itself, for taxes.
This site isn't meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect anything from one. If a change to any of this matters, the date at the top will move.
