OAKWOOD, TX · EST. 2006 · STILL RIPPING PACKS

We mix it here. You get the whole list.

Been collecting since before I could read. I'm 52. Still rip packs.

Beeswax pellets, carnauba flakes, olive oil, pure aloe, lecithin soft gels, diatomaceous earth. We buy the raw stock and melt it down ourselves, small batches, at a bench in Oakwood. Family shop — my name is on the tin, but I'm not the one doing all the packing. Took about two years of testing before we'd put it on our own Chrome.

WHAT IT DOES

Fingerprints and haze come off. Print lines don't.

Chrome picks up the oil off your hands and goes dull. The earth in the mix gives a light scratch a chance of lifting — sometimes it does, and we've had it do nothing at all. A print line got pressed in at the plant and it's staying.

Nothing in the tin cures. No silicone, no acrylic. Wipe it all back off and your card is dry. Leave a thin film in the sleeve and it stays soft — we've pulled it off cards that sat for years. A grader can call leftover wax a foreign substance, so wipe it clean before anything goes out for grading.

BEFORE YOU SPEND ANYTHING

Try a dry cloth first. You may not need the paste.

Most of what dulls a chrome card is the oil off your own hands, and a clean microfiber in one direction takes that off by itself. Plenty of the cards that come across our bench never need anything more. Do that step before you buy from us. If the card comes back, you're done — keep the money and let the tin wait until you hit one the cloth won't fix.

A card is a picture of a night somebody cared about. Ours get treated like that.

We know how to take a deep scratch all the way out. We don't sell that. A card with some wear on it is a card that has been somewhere, and this tin is the most we'd put on one of our own without covering that up. It's also the most six natural ingredients can honestly do. Where we stop, and why.
